​Daleen Thomas, LLB, LLM

Daleen is a devoted mother, business woman and practices law in

Brentwood Bay BC. 

She has among other things been a Peace Officer both federally and provincially, a research consultant in Child Protection and Legal Reform and has lived on reserve in Taku River Tlingit First Nation filling the role of Drug and Alcohol Counselor serving as part of the Social Health Team. 

In honor of her Metis heritage she has recently taken on the position of Coordinator of Justice Issues with the Metis Nation of British Columbia.

​Daleen has a lifetime of horse experience which she shares as she volunteers her time with The Medicine Horses of Thirteen Moons Farm.

She also serves on the Central Saanich Family Court and Youth Justice Committee.

In the past she has volunteered with the pediatrics ethic committee along with numerous legal advocacy groups.
