Born and raised in Nelson, New Zealand Les studied technical trades while at world renowned Nelson Boy’s College.
He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of departmental operations gleaned from his years with Campeau Corporation as General Services Manager at Scotia Plaza in Toronto, Ontario where he was responsible for implementing a smooth transition from construction to full operation.
Prior to his years at Scotia Plaza Les held a managerial position with Ontario Hydro where he was responsible for overseeing material handling and the coordination of office moving.
Les recently retired from a career with WestJet Airlines where he utilized his great customer service abilities and his friendly Kiwi personality to ensure travellers enjoyed their journeys.
He is married to Tina Barnes and is father to two grown children, step father to two more and grandfather to seven.
Les has special interests in travel, photography and all animals but especially Medicine Horses.
